1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using SportBuddiez (“SBUDZ”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If local law requires permission from a parent or guardian, you may use SBUDZ only with that permission.

Provide accurate information, keep your login details secure and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

3. Events and participation

Events are created by community members. Unless clearly stated otherwise, SBUDZ is not the organiser, employer, agent or supervisor of an event. We do not guarantee an organiser’s identity, an event’s accuracy, attendance, quality or safety.

Organisers are responsible for accurate listings, suitable locations, necessary permissions and communicating changes. Participants must assess whether an activity is appropriate for their health, fitness, experience and equipment, and follow venue rules and applicable law.

4. Community rules

You may not use SBUDZ to harass, threaten, discriminate, deceive, impersonate others, promote illegal activity, compromise safety, distribute malware or collect another person’s information without permission.

Do not post content that is unlawful, abusive, sexually exploitative, infringes intellectual property or exposes private information. See our safety guidance and report concerns through the contact page.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give SBUDZ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except where retention is technically or legally necessary.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit your content.

6. Moderation

We may review reports and remove content, restrict features, cancel event listings, suspend or close accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users or comply with law. We may act without advance notice in urgent or serious cases.

7. Third-party services

SBUDZ relies on or links to third-party services, including authentication, hosting, email, media and donation providers. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

8. Availability and changes

We may change, pause or discontinue parts of SBUDZ. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Disclaimers and responsibility

SBUDZ is provided on an “as available” basis. Sport and in-person meetings involve risks, and users remain responsible for their own decisions and conduct. SBUDZ is not an emergency, medical or professional safety service.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, user conduct or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Ending use

You may stop using SBUDZ at any time. Account deletion requests can be made through our contact page. Terms that naturally continue after closure—including ownership, responsibility and dispute provisions—remain effective.
